Welcome and About

Hi there, welcome to my website (this is likely still under construction) here you will find some basic information about "me." Who is me?

A funny little creature on the inernet. Sometimes a reindeer, other times a yinglet. Overall a workaholic!

what i do

Main Responsibilities

I am a full-time art Coordinator and I work for (and with) CaffeinatedCultist.

I am responsible for; upholding a routine, organizing, and the performing the following tasks:

  • Writing | drafting, profile info, descriptions, this website, tags, channel updates, ads, posts, etc.
  • Team Lead | general art ideas, platform ideas, audience interactions, events, and collaborations
  • Service | General customer service and support. Managing orders, feedback, etc
  • Admin | Server/site maintenance, organizing data, managing multiple platforms, brainstorming, drafting, and testing

I also actively maintain the offical repo and wiki over on, Gitlab

Everything I do is without automation tools like PostyBirb.

I make all my own templates, and have my own frameworks to help me with all of this manual work. Please see "what i made" and "what i use" for more information.

what i made

I created, Papr + CAARDS (or "PC" for short.) An analog tech-free framework to help with my ADHD.

what i use

Writing, notes, reminders, templates: TiddlyWiki, Logseq, Obsidian,

Back-end collaboration, orders, and infrastructure: Git. Gitlab, Codeberg, Forgejo, etc.

I also use a lot of analog soulitons like a "Antinet Zettelkasten" to help with anything else I need.

A good notebook, or scratchpad, journal, goes a long way as well. Pair that with your favourite pen or pencil! Make magic happen!

About CAARDS

CAARDS is an acronym that stands for:

  1. Conscious "Intentional coordination."
  2. Analog "Tangible tasks, at-a-glance."
  3. Agenda "Priorities, at-a-glance."
  4. Real-time "Living in the moment."
  5. Dashboard "Flexible, to fit your needs."
  6. System "Sorted by date, and type."

CAARDS is the core that slots inside of any Papr Companion. They are 3x5in "blank index cards."

Setup

If you already have your PC made, continue reading. If not, please do start with Papr Companion first.

It is possible to continue without having a PC, however I strongly suggest you give PC a try.

This guide works regardless if you bought index cards, or made/cut your own. Blank is preferred, however the back of common lined index cards are often blank in the back. I' 'll be using blank for this guide.

We will start with roughly 30 cards, or whatever set amount is for the month you' 'd like to begin with. Each of these cards is your "daily card" that you will use each day.

Daily Cards

Only 365 cards, one card for each day of the year. Or roughly 30 for the starting month.

If you are familiar with the 2min rule of GTD by David Allen, this is what I would suggest starting with. Only instead of "just doing it" I would suggest recording that action/task you just performed or are about to perform.

Starting with small records, that you slowly build overtime. I often found so many other systems to help aid our daily lives very stressful to start and even more stressful to continue or go back and fill in missed days.

This helps get things going without the stress.

Did you brush your teeth this morning? Write it down! Do you have anything planned this week, or even later today? Give it a try, schedule something easy to start with such as making your bed, or doing the dishes. Call a friend, check-in see how they are doing.

Overtime you will build habits, and begin to jot down tasks and events that develop naturally.

As of version 3.1: I have now included the "Daily Dashboard" system by Ryder Carrol (author of the Bullet Journal") as I find the idea of it absolutely helpful to not simply view lists like this as a sort of "supercharged to-do list" as now this is intentional. See credits at the bottom for additional details.

Next Cards

David Allen suggests anything that requires an additional action or a "waiting" phase, would ideally be considered "next tasks" a follow-up.

Eventually Cards

Not everyone will need an eventually card. I like them as I like to set a lot of loose plans with no set dates, and pull from that list (similar to Chris Kyle' 's Strikethru method) and I can add them to my Daily Cards when I need.

Eventually plans are actions that you might want to do one day. Someday. These sit here and if you think you might make something here actionable, feel free to migrate it onto your Daily Card, or Next Card and schedule it.

Examples:

  • Go on vacation
  • Start a new project
  • Visit family
  • Buy birthday gift for friend

2024-11-28 / Yinglet Lang Minecraft Add-on

About / Lang / Yinglet / BTA

A very small Yinglet language pack add-on for Better Than Adventure v7.2_01 The pack's current release only changes anything with a "th" into a "z" or "zh." Giving it that special Yinglet charm!

Install / Lang / Yinglet / BTA

If you already have BTA installed, it' 's as simple as dragging the .zip into the proper folder. This can be accessed on BTA's main menu screen.

If you need help getting Better Than Adventure installed, please follow the instructions on the official website I linked above. They offer a few different ways to install it, just select the one that works best for you!

About / Lang / Yinglet / ReIndev

I already made a add-on for "Better Than Adventure" why not, ReIndev? All the rules are pretty much the same as before. All "th" letters witin the language file have been replaced with "zh" respectively to give it than special Yinglet charm. If you don't know what Yinglets are, I suggest you check out the source in the credits below.

Install / Lang / Yinglet / ReIndev

Now ReIndev works a little differently with how they handle language packs compared to BTA or even modern vanilla (or b1.7.3 vanilla for that matter.) and this requires 4 plain files to be dropped into the appropriate directory. These files are:

  1. credits.txt
  2. en_Yinglet.lang
  3. splashes.txt
  4. tips.txt

These files must be placed into your /languagepacks directory. Which you can open up from the main menu from ReIndev. It's a tiny square button, which can be hard to miss as it's on the left of quit game.

Future plans

I had planned on mixing up some of the other sounds like "d" and "t" Changing "the" into "zhe", "de", or "duh" and so on.

Credits

The Yinglet species and OOP belong to the author, Val Salia.

All credits are included in the lang_info.json inside the zip.

Feel free to fork this project!

Create: What did I do or make today?

I worked on my neocities site, after fumbling over and over again trying to find a starter template for what I'm looking for, as well as build something from the ground up. I have tried so many different projects, and most of them did not stick. Not until I came across Hlomen's site, and was inspired. So many things clicked. It's small. It's not distracting. Navigation is simple. Each page has it's own touch of flair, but not too different. Credits at the bottom.

Had some spare time to dig through mountains and mountains of “pages” both digital and physical. Sorting though the ones I want to keep. Taking small bits, or simply getting rid of what is no longer needed or relevant. I really love this whiteboard-like paper I have so I don't need to waste paper, and I can fill up an entire book and transfer whatever I need at the end of the month. Wipe down the book, and it's as good as new!

Found some time to finally clean one of my most used desk pens, Pilot Kakuno, with standard Noodler' 's X-Feather ink. It ran out, and I like to clean out the cartridge and refill it with an ink syringe. So while that takes about a day to clean and dry, I pulled out my TWSBI Eco from a year or so sitting in storage. Always impressed to see that it still writes with no issues at all, ever. Perfect for a backup! I don't remember what ink I filled it up with, but my best guess is Monteverde Horizon Blue.

Consume: What did I read/listen to/watch today?

Besides chewing through many guides of building a site, I found myself listening to Ludocrypt again. They have a very nice calming and emotional style of music that isn't distracting and sits perfectly when I need to focus on something for a long time. Just finished up AHS 1984, which was as short as I remembered it (second time watching the entire series.)

Contemplate: What did I think about today?

Work has been sort of my main focus these days, have not had a lot of personal time (besides working on this site.) and I feel like I'm getting closer and closer to finishing up some of my structures, and templates, everything slowly coming together and I'm always excited to put it all into action!

Contact: Who did I talk to today?

Put in some extra effort recently to make time to check-in with close friends. Nice to hear from them when we all have time to catch-up. Share stories, updates, and simply hangout if time syncs up anyways.

Circle-back: Something to explore later.

At the end of 2024, I stumbled upon something called Pico-8, and I really wanted to grab the collection when it was on sale, but missed it. Soon I forgot about it until a couple of weeks ago. Now I am sparked because it has my two favorite games! Tetris and Minecraft what are the odds? I think I originally came across this thing when a few friends shared some PS1 style 3d models, of cars, or isometric maps or something. I can't remember but I loved the style and look of it. Will absolutely revisit this again one day.

Reflections,

Ran out of steam writing all this, may revisit later and fix. Sorry.
